GREPA Announces Grant Support from the ARELLO Foundation to Strengthen Real Estate Licensing and Public Protection in Ghana

Accra, Ghana — The Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association (GREPA) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a multi‑year grant from the ARELLO Foundation in support of structured licensing education, regulatory compliance advancement, and public‑protection initiatives aligned with international best practices.

The grant will support a three‑year national rollout (2026–2028) focused on strengthening implementation of Ghana’s Real Estate Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1047). The initiative includes REAC‑aligned licensing education, enforcement and brokerage compliance training, consumer awareness outreach, and the continued development of a digital regulatory learning platform.

“This support from the ARELLO Foundation represents an important step in advancing regulatory professionalism and public trust in Ghana’s real estate sector,” said Victoria Osei Sampah, Founder & CEO of GREPA. “The initiative strengthens education, accountability, and consumer protection while aligning Ghana’s regulatory framework with global standards.” According to her, the digital learning platform has already been activated, with registration and early training cohorts underway to meet urgent practitioner education needs.

Jessica Hickok, Chief Executive Officer of ARELLO, speaking on behalf of the ARELLO Foundation Board of Trustees, added:
